THE JUNIOR HUNDRED IS WHERE YOUNG TALENT TAKES CENTRE STAGE.

The Junior Hundred is Cricket Arena’s premier outdoor summer tournament for boys aged 12–15 — bringing together madrasahs, community teams, and schools from across Sheffield for a full day of action-packed cricket.

The 8-a-side format with 50-ball innings delivers fast-paced, exciting matches that test both skill and teamwork. Players compete in a group stage and knockout finals — all played on top-quality 2G Flicx pitches.

But it’s more than just cricket. Players grow in confidence, learn leadership, and build friendships in a positive, structured environment. Winners go on to represent Sheffield in the county-wide Yorkshire Junior Hundred — giving young talent a platform to shine.

Backed by partners like Central Co-Op, Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, Sheffield City Trust and in 2025 by the MHCLG Windrush Day scheme — the Junior Hundred helps youth potential thrive on a big stage.
